Mia-Stella Aaslaid, Maarja Nuut, Erik Alalooga, Mark Rennie, Villem Jahu, Hello Upan & Cate Hops will join the experiment to explore new hybrid forms of their practices and dive in the rims of comfort zones.

Summoned by Fra Zedde

Discomfort Dispatch was initiated by a collective in 2016 and has since evolved to embrace a decentralized structure; independent collaborators organize Discomfort Dispatch events without specific hierarchies, guiding principles, or territorial constraints. Discomfort Dispatch is a platform for collaborations between diverse artists to promote diversity, hybridization, and artistic experimentation. Individuals are encouraged to contribute to and independently organize their own editions at any time and in any location. Discomfort Dispatch curation predominantly revolves around musicians and is open to artists from various disciplines who explore the boundaries and potential of improvisation.

The name "Discomfort Dispatch" metaphorically refers to the awkwardness experienced by the performers. In the realm of sound, it represents a liminal space where two performers are called upon to communicate and collaborate with one another, articulating their message to the audience without predetermined constraints related to language, musical genre, or culture.
